In addition the Power of Choice flexibility that Microsoft has, what makes Microsoft Dynamics CRM unique, is that regardless of what model you have selected (On-Premises, Hosted, Hybrid), the user interface that your users work in never changes.
You can be changing the model on the back end and your users will never know. If you go from the Hosted Microsoft CRM solution to the On-Premise Solution. You could do this and your users would never notice a difference. They would start using Outlook or Internet Explorer (or both) and when the solution moved to On-Premises, they would still be using Outlook and/or Internet Explorer.
