Custom Reports for Hosted Microsoft Dynamics CRM Customers

Microsoft Dynamics CRM offers robust reporting tools and features many out-of-the-box sales, service, and marketing reports. Many customers wish to supplement the reporting power of Microsoft Dynamics CRM by creating customer reports.

Hosted Microsoft Dynamics CRM Customers in Shared Environment (most customers)

Hosted Microsoft Dynamics CRM customers have the following options for creating custom reports for their CRM organizations:

  1. Create the reports in Microsoft Dynamics CRM using FetchXML.
  2. Have xRM consultants create the reports using FetchXML (billable engagement).
  3. Have xRM consultants create the reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and upload the custom reports to your organization (billable engagement).

Please note that customers in our shared Microsoft Dynamics CRM environment do not have direct access to their SQL database.

Hosted Microsoft Dynamics CRM Customers in Dedicated Environment (some customers)

In addition to the three options above, Hosted Microsoft Dynamics CRM customers with dedicated environments also have the option of creating their own reports using SSRS. Dedicated environment customers have direct access to their SQL databases.
