Shared Model

Hosted Microsoft CRM comes in two configurations; a shared model and a dedicated model. The following describes the shared model of Hosted Microsoft CRM in more detail. As always, we like feedback and are happy to answer all your questions.

In the Shared Model, the only thing that is unique and/or dedicated to you and/or your company is the SQL database/instance. While it is called a Shared Model, rest assured that no one else can access or see your data and it is secure. It is referred to as a Shared Model because the hardware resources are being shared. Multi-tenant applications become much more cost effective in a Shared Environment, which translates to lower onetime setup fees for consumers. In many cases in a Shared Model the onetime setup fees can be waived all together.

Note: We do not support Microsoft accelerators within the shared CRM environment.

Licenses are only subscribed to when they are used. You do not need to make the upfront capital investment of purchasing licenses in this model. In this solution, the major advantage is the ability to grow and shrink your user count dynamically, as well as the alleviation of large initial startup costs.
